# Flared

> Flared is a URL shortener for branded short links, QR codes, and click analytics, built for AI agents. Create and manage links from the web app, a CLI, a REST API, or a remote MCP server. Flared Cloud has a free plan; the core is open source (AGPL-3.0) and self-hosts on Cloudflare Workers.

Key facts:

- Free: $0, no card. 1,000 links, 5,000 recorded clicks a month, 5 custom domains, 30 days of analytics, 2 people.
- Plus: $15 a month or $100 a year. 10,000 links, 100,000 recorded clicks a month, 10 custom domains, 365 days of analytics, 10 people, link passwords and start and end times, link cards, webhooks, automations, Slack, Teams, and Zapier triggers.
- Founding Lifetime: Plus for $200 once for the first 50 seats, then $350.
- Links keep redirecting past the click allowance. There is no overage bill.
- Change a link's destination at any time; the short URL and its printed QR code stay the same.
- Short links work on flared.link or on your own subdomain, such as go.example.com, with a CNAME to customers.flared.link.
- Click analytics keep no raw IP addresses. Short links set no visitor cookie unless the workspace owner turns on analytics forwarding.
- Every plan includes the web app, CLI, API, MCP server, and QR codes. Export all links and the retained analytics as JSON at any time.
